Kimball Electronics Romania recently participated in “Diversified Week,” an event aimed at enhancing the educational experience for students. The 22nd General School in Arad sent fifty-four students to visit the Kimball Electronics Romania factory, where they were introduced to the world of electronics production.
The students were greeted by Claudiu Milos, Program Management Manager, who shared the factory’s story before taking them on a tour of the facility. They had the opportunity to see advanced machinery and intricate assembly lines in operation, providing them with a firsthand look at the manufacturing process. The staff members patiently answered questions and shared their knowledge enthusiastically throughout the tour.
Afterward, the students were taken to the laboratory area, where they learned about the testing procedures designed to ensure the quality of the final products. From precise measurements to detailed circuit analysis, the students gained an understanding of the significance of quality control steps. They also received Kimball-branded gifts, including squishy light bulbs with an encouraging message: “Light up your good ideas!” For many of the students, this trip was a memorable experience, exposing them to the fascinating world of technology and engineering. The tour not only provided a glimpse into manufacturing but also sparked an interest in a field that drives innovation and progress globally.
