Judicial Appointments and Legislation on the Agenda at Senate Committee Meeting

The Senate Committee on the Judiciary has scheduled an Executive Business Meeting for Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Room G50 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The meeting will be led by the Chair of the Committee and will focus on several nominees for United States District Judge positions in various districts. The nominees include Michelle Williams Court, Anne Hwang, Sarah Netburn, Stacey D. Neumann, and Cynthia Valenzuela Dixon.

In addition to considering these nominees, the committee will also address two bills: S. 1306, the COPS Reauthorization Act co-sponsored by Senators Klobuchar, Murkowski, Coons, Tillis, and Graham, and S. 4199, the JUDGES Act co-sponsored by Senators Young, Coons, Padilla, Cruz
