Jamestown Starts Strong in Baseball Win Over Hastings College

The University of Jamestown’s sports team had a strong start in their game against Hastings College on Saturday, April 20, at the Nelson Family Bubble. With a solid opening performance, they secured a 4-2 win over the Chargers. In the first inning, Jamestown scored three runs, with Kayla Quintanilla hitting a single to score Trinity Gregg and take the lead. This was followed by two more runs that increased their advantage to 3-0 by the end of the first frame. Overall, they had three runs on four hits in this initial period.
