HMI Anlagenbau GmbH Files for Bankruptcy Amid Financial Struggles: 39 Employees Affected

1 min read

Unfortunately, HMI Anlagenbau GmbH has been forced to file for bankruptcy in 2023 due to financial struggles. The company had been undergoing a restructuring procedure, but this was terminated after a restructuring plan was accepted. The primary reasons for the bankruptcy are late payments from clients on large construction projects and a lack of new orders, resulting in a significant loss of revenue.

As a result of the bankruptcy proceedings, 39 employees will be affected. KSV1870 and Creditreform have reported that the company specializes in gas, plumbing, heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning technology and operates an engineering office for building services. The estimated debt for the company stands at 10.6 million euros. However, there are no plans to continue operating the company as no new orders are expected in the foreseeable future. In fact, the company has already indicated that it will agree to a closure according to Creditreform.

This is undoubtedly a challenging situation for both the company and its employees as they face an uncertain future. It is hoped that they can find a way to resolve their financial difficulties before it’s too late.
