The first Safford Spotlight on Small Business event is just around the corner, with seats quickly filling up. This unique opportunity takes place at the Manor 415 Convention Center on Monday, April 1st and is perfect for small business owners and operators to meet with city officials, including Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella.
During the event, attendees will have the chance to learn about various topics that will help support and enhance the success of small businesses in Safford. They will hear about business licensing requirements, the role of the city’s Planning and Community Development Department, and new beneficial ownership reporting requirements from the Financial Crimes Network of the IRS.
Mayor Ortega encourages both new and established small business owners to attend this event as there may be valuable information to gain. The morning will begin with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 am followed by a 90-minute program starting at 7:30 am.
The best part? There’s no cost to attend! All you need to do is reserve your seat in advance through the City of Safford Spotlight on Business Breakfast Tickets event page on Eventbrite. This event is sponsored by the City of Safford, the Graham County Chamber of Commerce, the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Arizona College, and the Safford Downtown Association.
