Kilian Zierer, a 6-foot-7, 304-pound left tackle from Munich, Germany, has been officially added to the Texans’ international/exempt list. Despite starting his football journey at the age of 16, Zierer’s impressive wingspan of 83 5/8 inches and build caught the attention of college scouts. He was ranked as the No.1 JUCE prospect at his position by Rivals after receiving a scholarship to play at the College of the Canyons.
After playing for Auburn in 2022, where he quickly became a starting left tackle for the Tigers, Zierer signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2023. However, his time with the team was cut short when he suffered an ankle injury and was placed on injured reserve late in training camp. Despite this setback, Zierer’s potential and skill on the field make him a promising addition to the Texans roster.
Zierer’s journey from Germany to playing college football in the US and now with the Texans is a true testament to his dedication and hard work. Fans can expect great things from him as he continues to pursue his football career in the NFL.
