Legendary broadcasters Joe Buck and Chip Caray are set to reunite in the St. Louis Cardinals television booth next Friday. Buck will join Caray to call the Cardinals’ game against the Chicago Cubs on Bally Sports Midwest.
Buck, who currently works as the play-by-play announcer for Monday Night Football on ESPN, is returning to where his big league broadcasting career began. He had previously broadcasted games on FOX Sports Midwest and the Cardinals Radio Network from 1991 to 2007. Buck expressed his enthusiasm to return to St. Louis, stating that the Cardinals are a part of his DNA and that he looks forward to working with Caray, whom he considers a longtime friend.
Caray, who is in his second season as the television voice of the Cardinals, also shared his excitement about teaming up with Buck for the broadcast.
