In January 2020, Julian Larsson made the move from AIK in Sweden to Nottingham Forest. However, he did not feature for the first team and instead played regularly for the club’s under-21 side. During his time with Forest, Larsson scored one goal in two EFL Trophy appearances before going on loan to Morecambe in League Two.
Now, Larsson is excited to join Burton Albion, who narrowly avoided relegation from League One last season. He is the sixth player to join the club since the Nordic Football Group took over. Larsson expressed his eagerness to develop and contribute to a club with high ambitions. He believes that Burton is the perfect place for him to grow as a player.
The length of Larsson’s contract with Burton Albion has not been disclosed. However, he is determined to make a positive impact at the club and is looking forward to getting started with his new team.
