The Isle of Berk, a new world based on the popular movie “How To Train Your Dragon,” is set to open at Universal Epic Universe theme park in 2025. One of five worlds featured at the new park, this rugged and rocky land offers visitors a chance to experience the coexistence of Vikings and dragons.
Visitors will be able to soar through the sky with Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, a family thrill coaster that gives riders a bird’s-eye view of the park. They can also meet and take photos with their favorite characters during meet-and-greets.
The Untrainable Dragon live show will feature Hiccup, Toothless, Gobber, and Astrid as they work together to solve a mystery with musical numbers and live-sized dragons. Guests can grab a bite to eat at themed eateries like Mead Hall, Spit Fyre Grill, and Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel.
Universal has promised to reveal more details about the Isle of Berk and other lands in the Epic Universe theme park in the coming months. Other lands set to be featured include Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe.
