In May, the unemployment rate in the 20-member eurozone stood at 6.4 percent, remaining unchanged from the previous month. This was a decrease of 0.1 percentage point compared to May of the previous year, as reported by Eurostat. The European Union also maintained its unemployment rate at six percent in May, which was the same level as in April and May of the previous year.
