ESA Sports Predicts Clemson Football’s Return to College Football Playoff in 2024 with Impressive Roster

2 min read

Clemson football is determined to return to the College Football Playoff in 2024, according to EA Sports’ “College Football 25” game. The Tigers have an impressive roster that could help them achieve this goal. With an 87 overall rating on offense and a 90 on defense, Clemson ranks No. 10 and No. 5 in the game, respectively. Their overall team rating of 90 places them at No. 6 in EA Sports’ initial top-25 power rankings.

The rankings are based on the players’ ratings on the team, with scores ranging from 0 to 100. Despite concerns about their offense and the lack of transfer portal players, Clemson is the only ACC team in the top 10. EA Sports believes that under head coach Dabo Swinney, who has led the team to success in the past, Clemson has a chance of returning to national prominence once again.

Leading Clemson are Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama, and Texas in the rankings. Other ACC schools making it onto the list include Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech, and NC State. Clemson will kick off their season against Georgia on August 31 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta – a highly anticipated game that fans will not want to miss out on!
