OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital is partnering with Prevention Awareness Support Services (PASS) to offer a Mental Health First Aid class during Mental Health Awareness Month. This class is aimed at equipping individuals with the skills to identify, comprehend, and react to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. By providing initial support to those who may be struggling with their mental health or substance use, participants will be able to connect them to the necessary care.

The Mental Health First Aid class will take place on Monday, May 13th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital located at 921 E Franklin St, Kenton, OH. The class is open to the community and registration can be done by contacting ddickmann@passaah.org before the deadline on May 6th.

By attending this training session, individuals will gain valuable knowledge and tools that will enable them to support their community members who may be facing mental health or substance use challenges. Let us work together in promoting awareness and improving mental health well-being by participating in this important training opportunity.
