Nearly three quarters of Americans believe that strengthening the economy should be the top priority for both the president and Congress, according to a Pew Research survey from earlier this year. With the economy being the main issue on voters’ minds, we take a look at how the Fed is responding to this concern. However, despite this, many Americans are not feeling the same way about their personal finances as only about 4 in 10 believe their personal finances are in excellent or good shape, while less than a quarter feel the nation’s economy is in the same condition. The Biden administration has stated that the economy is strong, but it seems that not everyone agrees with them. According to a Pew Research Survey published last month, many Americans are not feeling optimistic about their financial situation.
