Diabetes Advice and Empowerment at Good Samaritan Health Clinic’s Health Expo: Looking Forward to a New Facility

The Good Samaritan Health Clinic in Cullman, Alabama recently hosted a health expo where patients received valuable information about living with diabetes. Meaghanne Thompson, who is a patient herself, shared her experiences and advice during the event. The clinic also provided guests with nutritional advice from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, as well as fun home fitness routines led by Shanetria Orr. Della Bramley demonstrated proper food portions and meal sizes while attendees sampled healthy snacks. Patients also took home door prizes such as resistance band sets and bags of fresh produce grown through the Grow More Give More program.

Looking forward to the future, Good Samaritan Health Clinic plans to build a new expanded facility on Veterans Drive in 2025. The new location will have a larger waiting room to accommodate after-hours patient education classes and events.
