Delta emulator has been quickly gaining popularity since its release on the App Store for iPhone. It is now at the top of the free app rankings in the United States. The emulator allows users to play Nintendo DS games in ROM version, but it is important to note that downloading games illegally can put users at risk of breaking the law.
The developer, Riley Testut, has announced that an iPad-specific version of Delta emulator is almost complete and will launch with version 1.6. Supporters of Testut on Patreon can access the app through the regular AltStore. The current iOS version of the emulator works on the iPad, but a native version is being developed to optimize the user experience for the larger screen size. This includes an improved user interface, more elaborate skins, and support for iPad’s Split View feature for multitasking.
Testut plans to introduce multiplayer functionality between different devices after the release of the native iPadOS version. Currently, multiplayer is possible on a single device, but Testut aims to expand this feature for a better gaming experience. In addition to the upcoming iPad version, Testut mentioned that Sega Mega Drive emulation is in beta and will be released after the launch of the iPad-specific version. This new feature will broaden the range of gaming options available on the emulator. With these developments, Delta emulator users can look forward to an enhanced gaming experience across different Apple devices.
