The upcoming Jurassic World movie will feature David Iacono alongside Scarlett Johansson in the ensemble cast. The film also includes Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, and Luna Blaise. Production will begin in mid-June in London, with Gareth Edwards directing the film.
David Iacono is a rising star in Hollywood, having recently appeared in Jennifer Esposito’s directorial debut, Fresh Kills. He also starred in Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives and Amazon Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty. Other recent credits include Tubi and Village Roadshow’s thriller Cinnamon, as well as playing Eli Briscoe in HBO Max’s The Flight Attendant.
Iacono has also appeared on television shows such as Blue Bloods, The Good Doctor, New Amsterdam, Strangers, NCIS: New Orleans, The Blacklist: Redemption and Show Me a Hero. Details about the movie’s storyline have been kept under wraps but it is expected to feature dinosaurs and a new plot. David Koepp, the original screenwriter of Jurassic Park will write the screenplay for this new installment of the franchise.
The untitled Jurassic Park movie will be released on July 2nd 2025 and is executive produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are producing through Kennedy-Marshall Productions. This new addition to the franchise follows six previous films which collectively earned over $6 billion worldwide. Universal’s executive vp of production development Sara Scott and creative executive of production development Jacqueline Garell will oversee the project
