2 min read

The Croatian Ministry of the Interior has called on citizens to provide any information they may have about the disappearance of two-year-old girl Danka Ilić. Reports can be made to the Croatian police at phone numbers 01/3788-754 or 192. Danka went missing in the Banjsko Polje settlement in the city of Bor in Serbia on Tuesday, October 26. She is described as 85 cm tall with brown hair and eyes, and was last seen wearing an olive green jacket, purple pants, and black tennis shoes.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia is assisting the Croatian Ministry of the Interior in the search for the missing girl by activating her profile in the National Register of Missing Persons. On March 26, the Police of Serbia activated the PRONAĐI ME (Amber Alert) system for the first time, a system designed for urgent public information in cases of missing minors. Since Danka has not been found, the Serbian police have asked for help from anyone who may have information about her whereabouts or circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

The Interpol website also contains information about Danka Ilić’s disappearance. The search continues for Danka Ilić and any information that may help find her should be reported to either Croatian or Serbian law enforcement agencies.
