Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s ongoing contract negotiations have been a hot topic this offseason, but as the team enters training camp later this month, there will be more to keep an eye on. Recently, a photo surfaced on social media showing Prescott wearing a boot on his right foot while in Cabo San Lucas. According to a report by Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Prescott is wearing the boot due to a foot sprain.
Despite fracturing his right ankle in 2020 and missing a game in 2021 with a right calf injury, Prescott had a healthy 2023 season with no reported issues. As the Cowboys prepare to kick off training camp in Oxnard, California on July 25th, Prescott’s health and status will undoubtedly be a focal point when the team hits the field for their first practice. It is unclear when Prescott sustained the injury, but it is not believed to be a major concern at this time.
