On Monday, the schedule for the first two days of the College World Series was revealed. The Tennessee Volunteers will face off against the Florida State Seminoles in the bracket that includes North Carolina and Virginia. As the top seed, Tennessee will be playing in a bracket with Florida State, North Carolina, and Virginia.
The first game will take place on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. Eastern, with North Carolina facing off against Virginia at 4 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on ESPN. The winners of the Friday games will play on Sunday at 7 p.m., while the losers will play an elimination game on Sunday at 2 p.m.
The winners from both brackets will then compete in a best-of-three Men’s College World Series Finals, with games scheduled for June 22, 23, and potentially June 24 if necessary. Tennessee secured their third College World Series appearance in four years after defeating Evansville in the Knoxville Super Regional to win a share of the SEC regular season title and SEC Tournament championship.
