Child Scientists Shine at Local Homeschool Science Fair

Recently, homeschool students in the area participated in the Learn with Laura Homeschool Science Fair at Tri-County Library on April 26. The young scientists proudly showcased their winning ribbons earned during the event.

Seven-year-old Elizabeth Williams was among the participants and proudly displayed her project about crystals. She put together a fascinating experiment to explore the properties and formations of crystals, showcasing her interest in the subject.

Morgan Seibold, aged 7, also participated and presented her project titled “Do chickens have a favorite color?” Her innovative project aimed to explore the color preferences of chickens, showcasing her curiosity and creativity.

Six-year-old Joseph Simon stood by his science fair project titled “How does exercise affect heart rate.” The young student put in great effort to demonstrate the effects of exercise on heart rate.
