Celebrating Tulsa’s Top High School Athletes: All-World Awards Banquet on June 20th

The Tulsa World is set to recognize the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with the All-World Awards. Finalists for winter sports, including boys basketball, swimming, and wrestling, will be announced this week. Girls basketball finalists will follow on Saturday, leading up to the All-State boys and girls basketball awards on Sunday.

Do you have a favorite high school fan, mascot, band, cheer squad, or dance team? Cast your vote now in the Fans of the Year contest. Last fall, athlete of the year finalists were announced for football, cross country, volleyball, and softball.

The All-World honors cover a variety of sports, including boys and girls basketball, wrestling and swimming, football and softball, volleyball and cross country. Spring sports finalists will be announced in early June alongside specialty awards such as best comeback, inspirational athletes and scholar athletes. A lifetime achievement award will also be presented at the ceremony.

The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be revealed at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet presented by Bill Knight Automotive on Thursday June 20 at Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall.
