Celebrating Small Business Success in Colorado Springs: A 16-Year Tradition Continues with Mayor Mobolade’s Proclamation

In the Pikes Peak Region, a tradition of celebrating and supporting small businesses has been going strong for over 16 years. On Wednesday, May 1, Mayor Yemi Mobolade will be delivering a proclamation recognizing the week of April 29-May 3 as Small Business Week in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region. The ceremony will take place at the Catalyst Campus Harvey House before a marketing panel organized by the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center, Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, and the Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado.

The proclamation will be streamed live in an article starting at about 11:15 a.m. Small Business Week is a nationally recognized event aimed at celebrating and supporting the contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. This event highlights the importance of small businesses in our communities and provides resources and support to help them grow and succeed.
