Celebrating 45 Years of Support: Camp Kemo Returns to the Midlands with Help from Prisma Health Children’s Hospital – Midlands

1 min read

This year, Camp Kemo is returning to the Midlands with the help of Prisma Health Children’s Hospital – Midlands. The free summer camp for children with cancer and blood disorders, as well as their siblings, will offer a week of fun activities at no cost to families. The camp is fully funded through donations to the Prisma Health Midlands Foundation.

Celebrating its 45th anniversary, Camp Kemo’s theme this year is “The Great Expedition.” The camp aims to provide parents caring for children with cancer a much-needed break and peace of mind, knowing their children are in good hands with physicians, nurses, and other staff. The camp will take place from June 10 to June 14 at Camp Cole in Eastover, SC.
