In the Super Eights phase of the tournament, Bumrah showcased his exceptional bowling skills as India secured victories and finished at the top of the group. Over four days and three different grounds, Bumrah took a total of 6 wickets for just 49 runs.
In the match against Afghanistan in Barbados, Bumrah proved to be a nightmare for their batters. He cleverly used change-of-pace deliveries to dismiss Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hazratullah Zazai early in the Powerplay. Bumrah continued his dominance by also removing Najibullah Zadran and conceding only seven runs in his four overs.
Moving on to the match against Bangladesh in Antigua, Bumrah once again showcased his skill and talent.
