The Boston Bruins have recently made a significant trade, sending goaltender Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators. Despite their friendly relationship and hugs after victories, the Bruins needed to make a change as Jeremy Swayman emerged as the No. 1 goalie in Boston, leading to Ullmark being traded.
In return for Ullmark, the Bruins received goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, forward Mark Kastelic, and the 25th overall pick in the 2024 draft from the Senators. Ottawa will also retain 25% of Korpisalo’s salary.
