Broncos add to Ring of Fame with induction of former tight end Riley Odoms and defensive back Steve Foley

1 min read

The Broncos recently announced the election of two new members to their Ring of Fame: former tight end Riley Odoms and defensive back Steve Foley. This marks the first addition to the Ring of Fame since 2021 when Peyton Manning was elected, bringing the total number of members to 35 former players, coaches, and administrators.

In an interview with Mike Klis of 9News, Odoms expressed his excitement about being inducted into the Ring of Fame. He noted that though his journey may not have been straightforward, he is thrilled to have reached this milestone. Meanwhile, Foley has held the Broncos’ record for interceptions since 1986, when he made the final two of his 44 career interceptions.

Odoms is particularly notable for being one of only 13 Broncos to be twice selected first-team All-Pro throughout his career. He amassed an impressive total of 396 receptions for 5,755 yards and 41 touchdowns, ranking third in receiving yards by a tight end in NFL history at the time of his retirement. Additionally, he still holds the franchise record for the most consecutive games (seven) with a touchdown catch and ranks seventh in franchise history in receiving yards.
