A group of 18 talented bakers in France recently gathered to create a remarkable baguette that broke the record for its impressive length. The French Confederation of Bakers and Pastry Chefs, to which these bakers belong, collaborated on this project at the Suresnes Baguette Show in Suresnes, located west of Paris. The resulting baguette was an astonishing 461 feet long, about 235 times longer than the average French baguette.
This achievement surpassed the previous record held by a loaf of French bread baked in Italy in 2019, which measured 435 feet and 1 inch. An adjudicator from Guinness World Records examined the baguette and confirmed it as the new record holder. After being officially verified, the baguette was then covered with Nutella spread and served to the attendees at the show.
