Boston Celebrates 2024 NBA Championship with a Sizzling Parade on June 21st

Boston Celebrates 2024 NBA Championship with a Parade on June 21st

The Boston Celtics will be celebrating their 2024 NBA Championship with a parade on Friday, June 21st. The parade is set to begin at 11 a.m. and is expected to attract over 1 million spectators into the city. Despite the extreme heat hitting the area on June 18th, loyal Celtics fans are eager to hit the streets to show their support of the team and join in on the festivities.

In anticipation of the celebration, Mayor Michelle Wu declared a “Heat Emergency” due to a heatwave hitting the area on June 18th. The championship parade is scheduled to kick off on Causeway Street, making its way through City Hall Plaza, Boston Common, and concluding on Boylston Street. Undoubtedly, iconic duck boats are expected to be part of the procession as well.

While there has been no confirmation of which TV stations will be broadcasting the event, it is likely that NBA TV will live stream the parade. Additionally, local news stations and radio channels are expected to provide coverage to keep the public informed throughout the celebration.
