Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee, announced the province’s goal to become Vietnam’s artificial intelligence center during a conference held on June 25. In order to achieve this, the province is focusing on developing a skilled workforce in science and technology.

Indian Robotics Association Chairman Mr. Payyaula Sai Venkat Kisshan expressed his intention to establish an innovative science center in Vietnam and promote robot development at the same conference. He aims to help Binh Dinh cultivate a skilled workforce in science and technology by assisting with research, development, and training of technology professionals.

FPT’s major investment project is anticipated to attract around 20,000 employees and revolutionize technology and innovation in Vietnam. This initiative is expected to turn Quy Nhon into the country’s artificial intelligence hub. The conference, attended by Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung and Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, aimed to foster cooperation between the two countries.

Vietnam and India have been strategic partners since 2007, with Binh Dinh making efforts to welcome foreign investors. The province has showcased its potential, support policies, and investment-friendly environment to Indian counterparts, signing a cooperation agreement and providing investment registration certificates.
