2 min read

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) continues to progress, with its primary goal being to facilitate repetitive tasks and serve as a complement in the creative field. However, many individuals fear that this advancement could result in job loss. A study conducted by Sherlock Communications revealed that 67% of people believe that the future development of AI will enhance overall efficiency, while 63% think it will increase the risks of data fraud. In Argentina, 85% of respondents believe that more education on AI is necessary to fully benefit from it and prevent misuse.

Concerns about AI potentially replacing human jobs are prevalent among many individuals. Six out of ten Argentines see the advantages of AI but are apprehensive about robots taking over their jobs. Additionally, half of those surveyed (51%) agree that AI poses risks of increased crime and terrorism, while 59% believe there will be a higher chance of fraud as AI evolves in data processing.

Experts like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg have addressed concerns about AI potentially replacing human jobs. Gates highlighted that jobs involving direct contact with the public, such as artists, teachers, doctors, and social workers, will likely remain untouched by AI. Musk emphasized that human presence will always be necessary to supervise and direct AI, and Zuckerberg stressed the importance of human creativity and innovation in roles like product creators, service providers, software developers, designers, and artists.
