On the baseball field, there will be several exciting matchups in various classes during the sectional playoff semifinals. In Class A, Central Valley Academy will face off against Camden at OCC, while Westhill and Jamesville-DeWitt will compete against each other at the same venue. In Class B, Lowville will go head-to-head with Phoenix, while Little Falls and Clinton will square off against each other. Class C games will take place at Donovan Stadium at Murnane, where Pulaski and West Canada Valley will face off, and Mount Markham and Bishop Ludden will clash. Additionally, Class D games will also be held at Donovan Stadium at Murnane, with Lyme taking on Belleville Henderson and Poland playing against Oriskany.
Boys lacrosse fans can also look forward to some exciting sectional playoff semifinals on Saturday. In Class A at West Genesee, Cicero-North Syracuse will go up against Liverpool, while Baldwinsville will face off against Fayetteville-Manlius. In Class B matchups at Baldwinsville, East Syracuse Minoa will play Watertown, and Christian Brothers Academy will compete against West Genesee. Class C at Fayetteville-Manlius will see Homer take on South Jefferson and Carthage play Jamesville-DeWitt. Finally, in Class D at Chittenango, Westhill would play Skaneateles while General Brown competes against Marcellus.
Boys tennis enthusiasts can catch the Division II state team quarterfinal featuring Cazenovia taking on Plattsburgh on Saturday. Softball fans can also enjoy some exciting sectional playoff semifinals in various classes with matchups such as Fayetteville-Manlius versus Whitesboro in Class AA and Jamesville-DeWitt versus Camden in Class A.
