Exciting news for Jordan Stolz fans! The International Skating Union (ISU) has announced that Milwaukee’s Pettit National Ice Center will host the Long Track Speed Skating World Cup from January 31 to February 2, 2025. This event marks the fourth stop of the World Cup season series.
Paul Golomski, Pettit National Ice Center General Manager, expressed his excitement about hosting the world’s top speedskaters just one year before the 2026 Winter Olympics. Bob Corby, Stolz’s coach, emphasized the importance of this event for both Stolz and the community. It will provide an opportunity for Stolz to compete at his home rink in front of hometown supporters while giving the public a chance to witness the world’s best skaters who will be competing at the upcoming Olympic Games.
Top speed skaters from around the globe will take part in various races, including the 500 meters, 1,000 meters, and 1,500 meters for both men and women, as well as the 3,000 meters for women and 5,000 meters for men. Other events scheduled for the World Cup include a mass start race, team pursuit
