1 min read

The Homeland Movement and HDZ have reached an agreement, with Dario Hrebak of HSLS, Damir Habijan of HDZ, Josip Dabro of the Homeland Movement and Vladimir Bilek representing the Czech and Slovak national minority commenting on it. They discussed the collection of signatures for a parliamentary majority and key points of their respective programs.

Dabro stated that the Homeland Movement is collecting signatures and working to harmonize with parts of the HDZ program. Meanwhile, Habijan expressed confidence that everything would work out as HDZ would discuss agreements reached in their foreign bodies the following day. They also discussed the possibility of forming a future government and the path to achieving that goal.

Bilek mentioned that Andrej Plenković would have enough signatures to seek a mandate to form a new government, and they are coordinating with representatives of the Club of National Minorities to move forward. The Presidency of HSLS confirmed their agreement on forming a parliamentary majority, emphasizing the need for cooperation and compromise to achieve success.
