On Friday, the USC Trojans officially extended an offer to Jared Curtis from Nashville Christian School (TN) for the 2026 class. Curtis is a top quarterback and considered the ninth-best player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. In addition to USC, other schools like Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, and Texas have also offered him.
In his sophomore year, Curtis had an impressive season with 2,522 passing yards and 25 touchdowns while also showcasing his running abilities with 543 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns at an average of 5.4 yards per carry. Recently, USC competed with Georgia for quarterback Jayden Maiava from UNLV through the transfer portal but Maiava ultimately chose USC over Georgia.
Despite Curtis’s initial commitment to Georgia, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) predicts that Ohio State has a 52.8% chance of signing him. The USC Trojans’ class includes Ryder Lyons and Helaman Casuga from Utah in their quarterback category for more updates on college football and the NFL draft check out USC’s Wire affiliates and USA TODAY Sports NFL Draft Hub.
