Among those attending are Missouri’s Darius Robinson, an unexpected guest who is a first team All-SEC defensive lineman and a potential first-round pick. Robinson was one of eight Missouri prospects to attend the NFL scouting combine this year, setting a record for the school. Additionally, seven SEC players will be present at the draft, representing the most attendees from any conference this year.
The event will kick off with round one on Thursday and continue through rounds two to seven on April 26th-27th. Though there have been adjustments in betting odds regarding some players like Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy, it remains unclear how NFL talent evaluators and front-office members view their draft stock. McCarthy is among others who will not be attending the draft.
In contrast to last year’s draft held at Kansas City’s National WWI Museum and Memorial and Union Station, which was the largest venue in its 88-year history.
